1. I would definitely want less technology in the classroom because I think they are distracting if there are too many and I would feel like I am not the one teaching the students.
2. For audio, one traditional technology is the talking book. I would use this for students who are more audio learners and need to be alone when they hear it, so I could let the student listen to the talking book in another quiet room. An emerging audio technology is the Internet radio. I would use this tool to let students hear current events around their neighborhood. For visual technologies, a very traditional tool is the overhead projector. It helps the teacher to give students a visual of the lesson without putting it on the chalkboard. An emerging visual technology is the digital projector. I would use this to connect to the computer and project images from that instead of sheets of paper.
